Meet Mrs. Wright
I am honored to be serving as Veterans Memorial Middle’s Professional School Counselor. This is my 9th year as a Veterans Ranger! I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Development from UGA, a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from CSU, and a Specialist in School Counseling from VSU. I am also a National Board Certified Counselor. I love working with all of our students on a daily basis. I spend 90% of my time working with students individually, in group counseling, classroom guidance, and crisis intervention. In addition, I collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, and community members to support the whole child. My goal as a Professional School Counselor is to focus on the Academic, Personal/Social/Emotional, and Career development of our students to ensure they are successful, independent individuals.
